Its safe to say that we wont see WWE World Heavyweight Champion Demon Kane on Monday Night Raw. But will we still see Corporate Kane on Raw? The stipulation for the title match has raised the possibility that Seth Rollins will continue on a champ, but Kane will remain a fixture in the Authority as well. The original stipulation for the match was that if Kane didnt become champion, he would no longer be Director of Operations. But that stip recently was altered to read that Kane must defeat Rollins to remain in his corporate position. That opens the door to DQs and countouts, which is just the kind of wishy-washy booking WWE has embraced at times that helps no one. Rollins is a tremendous performer and is growing as an all-around talent, but his reign as champion has been crippled by poor booking almost the entire time. As some points, he wants to prove himself as a fighting champion. Other times, he hides behind the Authority and begs out of matches. Now, hes playing the role of whipping boy to a guy who has lost more than 75% of his matches the past two years. (But hes wearing a mask again, so that changes everything, right?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODvfFS2HD_g In a practical sense, Rollins needs to win and put this mini-feud to bed and send Kane away for a while so he can return for a final sendoff later. But what well probably get is Rollins losing via DQ so we get the status quo.
