10 Burning Questions For WWE Payback

1. Is Braun For Real?

After Sunday night, we very well could get the answer we deserve: Is Braun Strowman destined to be the next big thing in WWE?

Strowman faces off against Roman Reigns at Payback, trying to avenge his lone loss, to Reigns at Fastlane. A few weeks back, Braun decimated Roman in epic fashion, a manner that would have put most wrestlers on the shelf for months. Instead, Reigns is back just weeks later competing against Strowman.

If Braun wins, it could mean that WWE is recognizing that he is quickly becoming a bankable star worthy of at least a serious push. But if he’s being built up just for Roman to slay (again), then it could mean that we’re still on Vince McMahon’s never-ending Reigns Train.

And that would be a very telling moment about the future direction of WWE.
