One of the side effects of the split rosters going forward will be the increased focus on talent who previously had been shunted to the sidelines. With about half the roster having to fill a three-hour Raw each week, it means that more wrestlers will get the chance to shine.

In the case of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, it means that the former tag team champs get to square off against each other, their tag team clearly over. But just because they’re getting a chance to compete on Raw, it doesn’t mean that either man is going to make his mark.

Young and O’Neil had a dismal bout last week, and their backstage confrontation fell a little flat. It might be a little too early to write it off, but if they two get another lukewarm reception, it might be time to rethink this feud before they go too far down the rabbit hole.
