5. Will Rollins Continue To Rule In Reigns’ Absence?

Yes, Seth Rollins recently ate a DDT on the announce table at the hands of Dean Ambrose, but the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been on a roll in the ring since returning from injury.

Rollins has only lost one televised bout since returning – unfortunately, it was to Ambrose and it cost him the world championship. But in the last couple weeks, Rollins has defeated John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. That’s a pretty good run for Seth, especially considering that he doesn’t have the Authority or J&J Security backing him up. It’s quite a departure from last year, and it makes Rollins look more formidable than just a sniveling heel.

You’ve got to imagine part of this is due to Roman Reigns’ absence. Had he been on TV the last couple weeks, it’s safe to assume that Roman would be getting the upper hand on Rollins, maybe even sending him running a few times. So his absence could very well be having a positive effect on how Rollins is presented on WWE TV.

Will that trend continue on Monday? Or will WWE make this writer eat all of these words?
