The former Sabrina found herself invited to 2015’s SummerSlam, and afterwards conducted a nice, professional interview with Tom Phillips. She sounded like she’d had a fine time, but did not come across as a mega-fan by any means.
It soon turned out that Hart harboured some strong opinions on the state of modern wrestling, particularly the work of one Kevin Owens. A few months after enjoying WWE hospitality, she launched a social media attack on the Canadian, describing him as a “lazy wrestler”. KO fought back with some (pretty mild) banter of his own.
Hart wasn’t going to leave it there, though. She expanded on her view - Owens was not the wrestler he was on NXT or the indies, and was, per the actress, un-athletic and lazy.
She later clarified that this was a criticism of creative, rather than Owens himself - she held the performer in great regard and felt he was under-utilised - but by this point she had been blocked by Owens along with Big E and Tyler Breeze.
Hart perhaps went about the matter a little overzealously, but clearly she cares a lot about the product.
