Ernest "The Cat" Miller may be one of the most fascinating characters to ever enter the professional wrestling industry. Recruited into WCW because he was Eric Bischoff's ultra-charismatic karate instructor, Miller's in-ring game was never more than passable. However, as a personality he more than made up for his in-ring deficiencies. In late 1999, Miller began wearing a pair of ruby slippers and dancing in a manner similar to James Brown to celebrate his victories. He claimed as well to know the "Godfather of Soul" personally, and while feuding with The Maestro claimed that he was going to bring Brown to February's Superbrawl event as his special guest. As a hyperbole-prone loudmouth during most of his WCW run, the idea seemed illogical and improbable. Thus, when Brown ACTUALLY SHOWED UP, it was truly a surprise. A perfect case of using a celebrity in an ideal manner, it's still an entertaining watch.
