10 More Changes We Expect The WWE Network To Make

1. Best Of Luck In Your Future Endeavours

Where were you on Black Thursday? It had been a long time since WWE had gone on a significant culling of talent, but earlier this year, in the wake of disappointing subscriber figures, WWE released eleven employees in one day. Over the course of Thursday, 12 June, fans stayed glued to their computers pressing refresh on WWE.com as WWE added more names to the list, and when the dust had settled the casualties included Drew McIntyre, Teddy Long and even JTG. Things haven€™t got any better for WWE since then, and it€™s looking more likely that another Black Thursday style mass release is coming. They€™ve recently added a number of high-profile signings to developmental such as Hideo Itami and Finn Bálor, but the WWE Network is easily their main source of financial haemorrhage so it can€™t be too long before more superstars get that fateful phone call. Hopefully, with the holidays approaching, WWE will at least wait until the New Year before handing people their walking papers, but just a glance at WWE.com€™s Superstars page shows numerous stars that WWE could do without, and if they want to keep the Network afloat as long as possible, it€™s time cut away some of the dead weight.
