10 More Changes We Expect The WWE Network To Make

2. Price Hike

A much more likelier scenario than a price decrease to bring in new subscribers, is a price increase to squeeze more money out of the existing ones. In the past year, the most popular video streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime have both increased the prices of their monthly subscriptions, and if WWE raised the price by just one dollar, they could rake in another £7 million a year. There€™s always a risk with price hikes, because customers expect something to stay the same price forever, disregarding inflation and other economic factors. The figures that WWE released for how many people subscribe show that people are leaving WWE Network anyway, so a price increase might be the last straw for many people undecided as to whether or not to continue using the service. On the other hand, many WWE fans are hardcore fans and are willing to pay a bit more for the service. At $11 or even $12, the WWE Network is still incredible value for the amount of content, and many fans realise that a price increase isn€™t necessarily a terrible thing. An extra one or two dollars a month is more than fair if it means keeping the service they€™ve grown so accustomed to using.
