10 Changes That’d Happen If AEW's Tony Khan Bought WWE

9. The Indys Would Get An Influx Of Talent

Anyone who pays attention to AEW's product knows the roster is bursting with talent. It's the same on the WWE side too - both promotions have a wealth of workers. Combine them and...yeah, there's no way that's sustainable unless they're being run as totally separate companies.

Even then, the All Elite is probably still too busy.

This wouldn't even be some cold-hearted purge by Tony Khan of the AEW and WWE locker rooms either. Logically, he'd need to shed a ton of workers so those the boss wants to focus on get proper attention. That, ladies and gents, means the independent scene would have a serious influx of top talent.

Groups like IMPACT and New Japan would also hoover up some of the better ones and sign them to full-time deals. Then, indy promoters out there would be able to negotiate with others for one-off/short-term gigs, and offer fans better value than ever before.
