10 Changes That Would Enhance WWE's TV
7. "The Land Of Opportunity"
And speaking of differentiating, just about the only thing that does separate these shows would be SmackDown Live!'s nickname, "The Land Of Opportunity". Only problem is, they've yet to really flesh the concept out.
If SmackDown Live! were to become the more wrestling-based show, this would actually end up working out perfectly. While Raw makes the wrestlers slowly build their momentum up, make every match on Tuesday nights have some sort of meaning, whether it be through championship defenses, contenderships, tournaments, or open challenges to impress the blue brand's authority.
Why not revamp the United States Championship into the borderline open challenge championship and open each SmackDown Live! with any wrestler who wants to step up answering the challenge? Really emphasize that anyone can capitalize on the never-ending opportunities if they put in the work. Show off every single wrestler in some capacity and give everyone the spotlight for at least 10-15 minutes.
Not only will this go a long way in differentiating SmackDown Live! from their red counterpart, but it would show off the incredible depth of their roster.
