10 Changes To Make WWE Smackdown's Thursday Move Successful
8. Give Smackdown A New Ultra Corrupt Authority Figure
Weve seen the unfair heel authority figure before and weve also seen the wholly uninteresting babyface authority figure before too. What Smackdown needs is something that feels different. What would be awesome to see or the first time in the WWE (at least in the modern era) is a completely corrupt authority figure. Think the crooked mayor or police chief youve seen on any TV show or film. Somebody who is willing to take and solicit bribes. Somebody who is obsessed with maintaining his position of power not to use it to effect change, but to line his own wallet. A GM that could give two craps about what is best for business, and only cares about what he gets out of any situation. This GM would be largely absent, because he is for all intents and purposes incompetent. Hes the reason for the Wild West feel Smackdown could have. He doesnt police the superstars, and he surely doesnt maintain fairness. He should be a weasel, that basically lets the inmates run the asylum, and fosters an environment where outlaws create the rules. It would be very fun to watch, if only because it would be different from Raw and anything else we've seen on WWE TV.
