10 Changes To Make WWE Smackdown's Thursday Move Successful

7. Give Smackdown A New Set

This is probably the most straight forward change that will be presented in this piece, but it is certainly one worth mentioning. Smackdown should get a new set. When it gets down to it, Smackdown would be better if it didn€™t feel like a carbon copy of Raw. That mean Smackdown shouldn€™t feature the same old Raw matches, the same old Raw atmosphere, the same old Raw authority figures, and the same old Raw set. It€™s also the easiest thing to change, realistically. Most other changes require a change of philosophy, while this change would simply require a realignment or reconfiguration of the stage. It might cost money that the WWE is unwilling to spend, which is totally understandable, but at the end of the day you have to spend money to make money. A distinct looking set for Smackdown would make it feel a whole lot more important.
