Snoop Dogg was inducted into the celebrity wing of WWE’s Hall of Fame last year, and while the legitimacy of that particular part of the HoF is questionable to say the least, everyone was pretty on board with somebody like Snoop being inducted. His presence at WrestleMania 32 led to a bonafide ‘WrestleMania Moment’ in of itself, when Snoop performed Sasha Banks’s entrance while accompanying her to the ring.

But Snoop Dogg was also responsible for another, slightly less memorable WrestleMania Moment, this one taking place at WrestleMania 27.

You see, Snoopzilla was looking for some talented members from the WWE roster to take on his tour, and enlisted soon-to-be Hall of Famer Teddy Long to help him find them. Teddy responded with “Dee Oh Double Jizzle (careful Teddy), you’ve come to the right place”, and the two began a slightly awkward American Idol-esque skit, one that saw William Regal pulling off an admittedly funny attempt at gangsta rap:

“Straight out of Blackpool, I’m William Regal; everybody knows I do nothing legal. Mess with my man Snoop, and you won’t be chillin; ’cause I’ll show you why I’m straight up villain.”

We also got Great Khali and Beth Phoenix murdering ‘Summer Nights’, Zack Ryder singing Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ (at the height of his popularity) before getting punched out by Roddy Piper, and Hornswoggle doing a legitimately terrible rap while the Bella Twins gyrated around him.
