Even though it would still be a bit of a toss-up to say for how long he'd be able to stay over, there's no doubt that Macho Man could make a splash in today's product.

Gimmicks can be manufactured, but charisma cannot. And Randy Savage had more charisma in his eyebrows than most of the current superstars have in their entire bodies. Audiences hung on his every word, not just because it was impossible to take your eyes off a man wearing that much sequins and fringe, but because he had a smooth and emphatic delivery that was enrapturing.

Replace those "Ooooh ye-aaahs" with another snappy catchphrase (or don't, people might still eat that up if they heard it for the first time today) and you've got yourself a bonafide main event talent.

If for no other reason, crowds would go nuts to see a flying elbow drop executed so damn perfectly that you could take a picture of it at literally any point - from the start of that famous pose to the moment his elbow connected with his opponent's prone body - and it would an image you could posterize and hang on your wall.
