The Summer of Punk angle was a huge success in Ring of Honor, and received rave reviews from the critics and fans alike. When Punk did the same thing once again with the WWE, it brought a lot of eyeballs and interest back to the organization, at a time when the interest in WWEs product was dwindling. The angle proved to be a success on both occasions, and CM Punk has the opportunity to once again create an impact and generate a lot of buzz, by coming back to Ring of Honor and starting a similar angle, leading to Summer of Punk III. Ring of Honor can plant the seeds during the PPV later this month, which can lead to Punk coming back to the organization down the line. Such incidents arent unheard of, and if Punk and ROH work things out, it could raise quite a few eyebrows with CM Punk returning to Ring of Honor once his no compete clause with the WWE runs out.
