The last clue or reason hinting Punks return to Ring of Honor is an invitation by an old friend. Lethal himself returned to Ring of Honor after his contract with TNA Impact! Wrestling expired, and he had invited CM Punk to return to the organization back in February. Although Punk has received invitations from a lot of people which includes the likes of Bully Ray and Dixie Carter to come to TNA, there is little to no chance that Punk, if he does indeed return to in ring action, would go to TNA, given his history and distaste for the organization. There is a much bigger chance of Punk returning to Ring of Honor, and knowing Punk who loves professional wrestling much like his close friend Colt Cabana, Ring of Honor will be the perfect fit for the Second City Saint. Although everything is just a speculation for now, the itch for in ring competition is likely to make Punk think twice about retiring so soon. Although he doesnt need the money and doesnt need to work for even one more day, CM Punks love for the business and his love for Ring of Honor might make him return to the company sooner than expected, and all that can begin later this month, during the Best In The World PPV.
