3. He Hates Chris Brown For Hitting A Woman... But Thinks Steve Austin Is A Swell Dude
A few years back, CM Punk entered into a 'twitter war' with rapper Chris Brown. That's right, the wrestling star who doesn't like attention, had a public war of words with a celebrity rapper. Punk's reasoning for this was because he hated guys who hit women. Fair enough. Brown had been in an incident which left his girlfriend Rihanna covered in bruises, leaving the pop sensation barely recognisable. Punk offered to fight Brown and ripped into him for being a poor representation of a man. It was all quite heated and actually ended up being covered by the mainstream media. But, here's where the hypocrisy comes in. In a massive twist of irony, Punk was also on record stating how much he respected Stone Cold Steve Austin. What's notable about that, is Steve Austin had previously been arrested in 2002, after his wife Debra was bloodied and bruised at his San Antonio residence. Debra later revealed that Austin had beat her on three separate occasions. You'd have thought with Punk's condemnation of Brown, that he'd be dead set against anything to do with Austin. Nope. He spent several years trying to engineer an angle to do business with The Rattlesnake. CM Punk was a Stone Cold mark through and through. The high and mighty righteous ranting about Brown was based more on personal apathy than any set of morals.
