10 Complete Wastes Of WWE Pay-Per-View Time

9. The WWF Give Away A House (In Your House I)

Who could ever forget the cheesy, smiling face of Todd Pettengill? To viewers in the mid-1990's, Pettengill was omnipresent on WWF television. He conducted most of the backstage interviews, hosted the original incarnation of Livewire, and even ran away from Giant Gonzales on one episode of WWF Mania. By 1995, he had been joined by the piercing glare of Stephanie Wiand. Seriously, check out those eyes, she's either wired to the max or wondering why the hell she's in the World Wrestling Federation. To the credit of both, they really tried their best to excitedly hype the idea of their employer giving away a house live on pay-per-view. Of course, this took place during the very first 'In Your House' special. Right before Diesel faced Sycho Sid in the show's main event, Todd and Stephanie pulled a lucky name from an unbelievably large container and called them live on air. Meanwhile, fans would have used the segment as an excuse to check out the merchandise. Those oversized Shawn Michaels t-shirts emblazoned with love hearts wouldn't buy themselves, after all. As a side note, the winner of the competition sold the house not long after and netted a tidy profit from it.
