8. 'President' Bill Clinton Repeatedly Wastes Time (Survivor Series 1995)
Celebrity appearances are one thing, but using lookalikes is just taking things a bit too far. During the 1995 Survivor Series, Vince McMahon hyped the fact that none other than the one, the only Bill Clinton was in attendance watching the stellar live WWF action! It seems even the then-President of the USA couldn't miss the chance to see Barry Horowitz and Rad Radford in the show's opening match, because he looked very happy to be there. Of course, the man was a phony, an actor hired by the company to pretend to be Clinton. He was actually played by Tim Watters, a man who made a living out of mimicking the President. It's better than playing a fake Razor Ramon, I suppose... One showing may have been easy to stomach, two at a push, but the WWF repeatedly kept cutting back to the impersonator sitting with Todd Pettengill in the 'Presidential Box'. It was a baffling use of pay-per-view time, because it's difficult to imagine wrestling fans would have been excited even if it had been the real Bill Clinton.
