10 Completely Stupid Things In Wrestling That Heels Always Do

3. What Are They Gonna Do About It?!

Edge The Undertaker

Forced to atone for over a year of sins committed against The Undertaker, Edge suffered a chokeslam through a table, a spear, a conchairto and even a camera shot en route to 'Hell', his final destination following a brutal Hell In A Cell sh*t-kicking from 'The Deaman'.

It was only what he deserved. A disagreeable pr*ck to anybody and everybody in his unending quest for supremacy in WWE, the 'Rated-R Superstar' had trampled on friends, rivals and even lovers to remain atop WWE's delicate summit, and the level of comeuppance matched the scale of his prior crimes.

And yet, he'd done it. And would, sparingly, do it again. Why do villains never learn? Thankfully, despite innumerable pitfalls in the modern era, wrestling somehow still clings on to a loose narrative that good will ultimately triumph over evil. Why then, is skullduggery still the avenue to walk for those that chase such fleeting success?

Edge didn't learn, and never really did. On his very last night, he smashed Alberto Del Rio's car with a crowbar, but was then forced to retire through injury immediately before the Mexican star could battle back. Del Rio never managed to strike, but karma certainly did.
