The New Day's run with the tag titles feels like it has ended too soon, just as they were really starting to work up some steam. The Prime Time Players seem to be popular, so it's not a massive surprise that they were the ones to knock New Day off - it just feels like a longer period of Woods, Kingston and Langston continually weaselling their way to retaining would have made the eventual title change a lot sweeter.

The match itself made sense, admittedly, given that New Day were deprived of Kofi thanks to a sick spot in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match that resulted in him being powerbombed onto a ladder. This evened the odds in the match for the tag titles, and without any outside interference the Prime Time Players took full advantage.

A rematch at Battleground is inevitable - one that will surely see New Day regain their strength in numbers.

As a long-time WWE fan, I have always enjoyed watching men pretend to beat each other up while wearing spandex. Extra points for facepaint, none for tassels. I love all things sci-fi. If there's a 'Star' somewhere in the title, I'll probably dig it. I'm a huge football fan too. For my sins, I support Manchester United.
