10. The Shield

An interesting way of promoting the return of the indomitable Goldberg gimmick in a returning match at WrestleMania 31 would be to have Goldberg face multiple wrestlers. Perhaps a stable such as The Shield could offer Goldberg credible opposition to establish his dominance as a singles competitor in the current PG Era of WWE. If The Shield have not disbanded by WrestleMania 31, then the WWE Creative Team might look favourably upon a Goldberg/Shield match as an ideal opportunity to disband The Shield entirely. After all Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are talented competitors in their own right and will inevitably pursue their own singles careers at some point in the not too distant future. Therefore if Goldberg defeats The Shield at 'the show of shows' in a match to determine the most dominant force in all of WWE, then perhaps the fallout of such a collision will be the return of a legend and the emergence of three potentially legendary singles wrestlers.
