10 Contenders For The First AEW Midcard Championship
4. Jungle Boy
Young Jack Perry has already made a huge splash in the world of AEW.
The son of the late Luke Perry drew heads when he became one of the first names signed by the company in early 2019. He has since impressed in matches at Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest, and All Out, in tag teams and as a singles star.
Jungle Boy is an appealing choice for the midcard title for a number of reasons. He's young, has a great look, is fantastic in the ring, and has mainstream appeal.
Like a lot of the young AEW talents, Jungle Boy is incredibly talented but has a long way to go in what will hopefully be a lengthy career. He might not be World Championship material just yet, but he is definitely a good choice for a lower tier belt.
The fans would love it, the press would love it, and it's likely that Jungle Boy would be pretty happy about it too.
It's a win-win-win.
