10 Contenders To Become WWE 205 Live's General Manager

9. Eric Bischoff

WWE probably only began thinking of names to fill the hat for a 205 Live GM as early as Tuesday morning, so it's unlikely the company discussed with Eric Bischoff the idea of him becoming the purple brand's doyen during his cameo on this past Monday's Raw 25 shindig. In fact, it's unlikely they have discussed it with him since either, but there's a solid basis for Easy E popping up post-SmackDown.

We all know Bischoff invented small wrestling way back in 1995, as his Monday Nitro phalanx of high-flyers helped popularise cruiserweight action in North America. He's also more than comfortable playing the on-screen authority figure, having served as one of Raw's more tolerable GMs way back in 2002. Plus, what about that reception he got at Raw's anniversary bash? Guy's still got it.

Whether Bischoff himself wants it is another matter. Eric's 62 now, and a regular schedule bossing around little lads as opposed to a semi-retirement spent fishing and shooting things probably doesn't appeal.

Probability: 2/10

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
