Current Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens arrived in WWE with a tonne of momentum thanks to a feud with and win over John Cena, but ultimately lost the war to the 15-time world champion, losing the two follow-up matches. He has since notably cooled off. Still, Owens captured gold, and he's settled into a role as a talented second-tier player who could plausibly be pushed to the main event if the company deemed it necessary. The Quebec native would be an ideal fit for The League of Nations - he's a unique performer, he's angry, and he's already got championship gold. He'd arguably be the most talented member of the stable (and easily the best promo), and he's been mishandled less than the other members, so he would bring a bit of credibility to a group that's in danger of looking like JOB Squad 2015. The League of Nations needs Owens more than he needs them, but joining the top heel stable - even temporarily - wouldn't hurt Owens' profile any.
