10 Contenders To Join WWE's League Of Nations

2. Hideo Itami

It's been over six months since a badly-timed shoulder injury put NXT star Hideo Itami on the shelf. Given the initial prognosis, he should be due back early in the new year. Returning to join The League of Nations would be a memorable main roster debut for the Japanese superstar. As KENTA, Itami became a babyface superstar in Pro Wrestling NOAH, and while he has less experience working as a heel, he's more than capable of making an impact in that capacity. Him running in on a Raw match to attack an opponent of Sheamus's would get a great reaction, and if he's handled right he should gain a lot of momentum. He's really talented, so it's pretty much up to the creative. While many fear that a returning Itami could get lost in the shuffle in NXT, WWE - and The League of Nations - could really use him right about now. He'd fit right into the group.
