3. William Regal

From one NXT Brit to another. How has William Regal not been given a full time announcing role on the main roster yet? Granted, Regal is a vital component of the WWE developmental structure, working as NXT General Manager and head scout for Triple H’s wet dream indy, but it still feels like his talents are going to waste.

Regal’s work on commentary in FCW and NXT was almost universally celebrated, and a move to the main roster announce desk is long overdue. The only problem with promoting Regal to this role is that he will likely make Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton look worse, but then working alongside top talent is how individuals get better.

Phillips and Saxton would benefit hugely from working alongside Regal. This is more out of hope than expectation, but putting William Regal behind the desk on SmackDown Live would be best for the entire show. The man from Blackpool could easily transition to General Manager when Daniel Bryan inevitably leaves in 2018 too.
