10 Most Controversial 'Shoot' Comments From WWE TV

10. 'Sunny Days'

During Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels' ultra-personal feud in 1997 the two wrestlers occasionally stepped over the line and said and did things that were uncalled for. Bret Hart spent a great deal of time in promos insinuating that Michaels was a closet homosexual and attacking The Heartbreak Kid's arrogant personality. Michaels responded by insinuating that Bret Hart had been seeing some 'Sunny Days', basically saying that Bret was having an affair with WWF diva Sunny. This was very controversial because Sunny was in a relationship with Chris Candido at the time, Bret had a wife and kids and the fact that Sunny was also seeing Shawn Michaels behind Candido's back! Talk about hypocrisy... In Bret's lengthy autobiography he admits to habitually cheating on his wife while on the road but doesn't name Sunny as one of those he fooled around with. Sunny has also denied it. The comment led to a backstage fight between The Hitman and HBK at a Raw taping which Bret apparently won after punching Michaels face in and pulling out a large chunk of Shawn's hair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUdzPE0PbhA
