A few slides ago, we discussed the real life relationship that was brewing between Edge and Lita in 2005. A night after being the first man to ever cash-in the Money in the Bank briefcase and become WWE Champion, Edge celebrated his championship victory by having "hot, unbridled" sex with Lita on Raw the next night. While we know that various religions frown upon "unbridled sex", there is no doubt that a variety of churches would have been pissed off by this segment. However, this ended up being the highest rated segment on Monday Night Raw in over a year, garnering a 5.2 cable rating. One thing is for sure: whether the church likes it or don't like it, sex sells.
