10 Craziest On-Screen Arrests In WWE History

9. Daniel Bryan (2014)

Those dastardly McMahon’s are at it again, this time with Daniel Bryan taking the brunt of their abuse of power.

One week after “occupying” Raw and being granted a match with Triple H at WrestleMania, Bryan would pay for rebelling against the system, with Stephanie McMahon threatening that “you spit in the face of my family and you will suffer the consequences”.

Those consequences were soon to be made apparent as a legion of officers swarmed the ring, took Bryan down and promptly detained him, stretching the very definition of 'reasonable force'.

Of course, in a despicable twist, the officers would prove to be imposters. I mean, obviously every officer on this list is technically an imposter, but these were fake cops in storyline. Fictitious fictional officers, if you will. Very meta and so on.

Triple H would soon spill the beans and commence an absolutely barbaric beating, in which Bryan remained handcuffed and therefore unable to protect himself as he was ruthlessly ragdolled around ringside by the Game.

For the brutality of the beat down that followed the feigned arrest - plus the role it played in one of the greatest WrestleMania coronations in history -there was no way I could overlook this one.
