10 Craziest Spots In WWE Backlash History
1. Shane McMahon's Leap Of Faith (Backlash 2001)
Much has been written around these parts about Shane McMahon's ridiculous, borderline sadistic antics. But there's a good reason for that. The reason being that he is the heir to a multi-billion dollar company who decided it was in his best interest to leap from a 50-foot structure onto another human being.
Apparently it wasn't enough that Shane had already fallen off the TitanTron the year prior at SummerSlam. Because, hey, why rest on your laurels when you can climb back up that frighteningly tall scaffolding and then leap down to your impending death, firmly cementing your legacy as the most legitimately insane member of the McMahon family in the process?
Unlike the aforementioned SummerSlam fall, Shane actually had to look down at his landing spot, force his legs to leave the relative comfort of those metal bars, and then plummet all the way down onto another body. Without pooping himself. And that, my friends, is what you call "a pro".
Honestly, if I were Shane-O-Mac, I wouldn't have a security system in my home. I'd just have this spot playing on a loop on my front door.
