9. NXT Take Over
Survivor Series 2019 will always be remembered as the show that added NXT into the Raw vs. SmackDown mix.
The Black and Gold brand made their presence felt on SmackDown after the majority of the main roster got trapped in Saudi Arabia, shocking the wrestling world when they invaded the Blue show. That majority carried them into the go-home episode for Survivor Series, which ended in a huge brawl between stars from all three brands.
The wild melee carried on well after the credits had rolled, as the ring and ringside area filled up with a sea of thrashing humanity. Highlights of the after-show brawl includes a crazy moonsault from Chad Gable, Otis leaping off the ring apron, and Mustafa Ali hitting an insane top rope Spanish Fly to Lio Rush onto a pile of bodies on the outside of the ring.
This brawl was really exciting and very reminiscent of the multi-person bust-ups that would end most shows during the Attitude Era. The fact that NXT managed to hold their own in the fight was an extremely promising sign and perhaps of some foreshadowing ahead of their victory at Survivor Series.
