10 Crazy Lies Told By Hulk Hogan That No One Believes

5. He Had The Chance To Join Metallica

When he was in high school, Hulk Hogan played bass in a band called Ruckus. If you haven't heard of them, it's because they never hit the big time. Hogan however believes that he was talented enough to get requests from both Metallica and The Rolling Stones. In fact, Lars Ulrich himself asked him to join the band in their early days, but "it didn€™t work out." Unfortunately for the WWE Superstar, Lars himself would entirely debunk these claims some time later on The Howard Stern Show, and appeared to be completely unaware of who Hogan even was. As a result, the Hulkster has been forced to back down on his story, since saying that he simply sent audition tapes to the bands at various points in his career. That is also no doubt untrue, especially as Metllica needed a bass player around the same time that Hogan was prepping for his WrestleMania III match! How would that have worked?
