2020 being all shades of weird strikes again, and this time we dive head-first into WWE's unhealthy obsession with cinematic stupidity.

There's no denying that WrestleMania 36's Firefly Funhouse and Boneyard showcases were a welcome change of pace on a night that largely took place in front of an uncomfortably silent Performance Center, but things took a few unwelcome turns in the wake of these unexpected successes.

The first slightly cinematic stop post-'Mania we'll touch upon soon enough, but a few months on from Money in the Bank: Climb the Corporate Ladder, Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman had a full-on fight... in a swamp.

The aptly named "swamp fight" involved everything from numerous attempts to drown one another to unfortunate goobers being set on fire, all against the backdrop of a dark, misty ol' swamp two hours outside of Orlando, Florida.

It came as little surprise to see WWE take their foot off the off-site nonsense a bit once fans experienced this deeply underwhelming non-title affair. The lack of the previously teased alligators and snakes, and the all-round Fiend-ish-ness of the finish, resulted in the main event living up to the show's "Horror Show" title.
