One of the greatest things about being a wrestling fan is the sheer unpredictability of sports entertainment. Any night can be the ground for a seismic change. The 13 November 2018 edition of SmackDown is proof of this. The card's main event pitted Daniel Bryan against AJ Styles for 'The Phenomenal One's' WWE Championship. While there can be some stigma around babyface vs. babyface bouts, the supreme technical ability of both men more than quietened this doubt.

The WWE Championship changing hands on weekly television was enough to catch fans off guard, however, Bryan's methods shocked the fandom. 'The American Dragon' put his opponent away with a low blow while the referee was down and out from a clash with Styles. A Running Knee hit just as the ref woke, allowing Bryan to score a three count.

Just to clarify that this was a full-blown heel turn, Bryan kept his head bowed while forcing a maniacal glare and rained boots down on the former champion. It is a testament to Bryan that the fans go from cheering his win (despite the means) to boos and jeers in a matter of minutes.
