Although Valentina Shevchenko is firmly on top of the women's flyweight division, it doesn't mean that there isn't some exciting boutss going on in and around the top-10. Two fighters who have proven themselves to be must-see in that division are Gillian Robertson and Miranda Maverick.
Robertson has proven herself to be quite the submission specialist during her run in the UFC. The 25-year old owns several records at women's flyweight, including most finishes and submission wins. While her striking is still coming along, once the fight gets to the ground, she's a legit threat to anyone at 125lb.
Maverick looked outstanding in her UFC debut, all the way back at UFC 254 against Liana Jojua. Despite being a talented grappler herself, the 23-year old managed to show fantastic striking that bloodied her opponent, eventually forcing the doctor to stop the fight.
With both fighters so young in their careers, yet so talented, it's likely that we'll see this very intruiging match-up more than once in years to come.
