Sitting minding his own business backstage, Bret Hart was lacing up his boots and preparing for his match on a routine WWF card. Suddenly, in strolled The Ultimate Warrior, who was the reigning Intercontinental Champion. Not scheduled to wrestle until the main event of the show, Warrior exchanged brief pleasantries with Hart, before deciding to get something to eat. Crushing a cookie in his hands, Warrior proceeded to take several long sniffs of the crumbs, all before binning the remains. Fascinated by what he was seeing, Bret decided to ask exactly why his buffed-up comrade hadn't consumed any of the biscuit, and was even more alarmed by Warrior's response. According to Warrior, he got the same feeling from simply smelling the cookie as he would have from eating it, which must have raised the eyebrows of everyone who heard him say those words. A lot of fans fondly remember The Ultimate Warrior character as being pretty out there, but it seems the real-life man behind the face paint was just as wacky, and definitely followed his own path.
