10 Crazy Weird Pro Wrestling Stories You Won't Believe

4. The WWF Roster Teach Ric Flair A Lesson

Known as a party animal in his own right, Ric Flair was the reigning WWF Heavyweight Champion when he invited his new peers up to his penthouse suite to celebrate after WrestleMania VIII was in the bag. In hindsight, this is probably something the 'Nature Boy' wishes he had never done, because his new colleagues didn't really take care of the hotel room. Names involved include the likes of Bret Hart, Roddy Piper and even Vince McMahon himself, who pretty much left the hotel room trashed. According to Hart, most wrestlers were respectful, and some even liked Ric, but a few jealous souls who didn't took liberties with his hospitality, even urinating on his carpet. Flair wasn't even in the suite, likely off cavorting elsewhere with others, partying hard. Footing the bill the next morning, the reigning champ must have wondered if he'd be welcome in his new promotion - it's fair to say that Flair always looked more at home in NWA/WCW, and maybe this is why.
