5. Andre The (Gas) Giant Affects Jake Roberts

Infamous and legendary are both words which accurately describe the legacy left by Andre The Giant - so revered is the man that WWE still pay tribute to him today, just look at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal taking place at WrestleMania for evidence of that. During a radio interview several years ago, Jake "The Snake" Roberts let loose a pretty funny story about the giant, one which had Roberts on the receiving end of some pretty smelly abuse. Working a house show loop against Andre, Jake was met by a laughing Bobby Heenan backstage, who informed him that he and Andre had just been for a pretty spicy curry, a few scant hours before Roberts was set to work with the giant inside the ring. Putting it out of his mind, Jake prepared for the bout, but was surprised when Andre decided to sit on him whilst the match was in progress. Calling out to his monstrous foe to ease up, Roberts was soon left wishing he hadn't bothered, as Andre let loose a tremendous fart, one which lasted around 40 seconds. Nobody should discount the length as false, Jake Roberts had plenty of time to count!
