It's a shame that Alex Riley has decided to become a "serious actor" and clean up his social media presence, because his Twitter account used to be an absolute goldmine. He has deleted the majority of his best tweets, but barely a week would pass without The Miz's former protege dropping a massive cringe bomb back when he was languishing in NXT, with Kevin Owens one of his favourite targets:-

.@FightOwensFight u might be right, if u are, I’ll see YA in 10 yrs when I pull up to Mobile and u ask me, if I want regular or unleaded

Bizarrely, Riley also used the platform to go after Japanese legend Jushin Thunder Liger ahead of his NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn appearance:-

I love my job, where else can I destroy internet marks online and in the ring @WWENXT I am homegrown @wwe and the minority, makes sense? U were big in Japan? Good for u I was watching attitude era and punchin people in the mouth the whole time @WWENXT by the way ur name again?

It doesn't stop there though. Riley has also lashed out at Dave Meltzer, claiming his opinion "didn't matter" because he wasn't "in the 20x20 scrapping for your life with BOOTS & TRUNKS on," and also embarked on the horrendous #FreeyRiley campaign for more screen-time, Photoshopping himself inside a bunch of different cages:-

Perhaps the Owens tweets can be attributed to a storyline, but the others certainly can't. RIP Alex Riley's Twitter rage: you are dearly missed by all.
