4. Mick Foley Smashes His TV

Few booking decisions have ever been as poorly received as the 2014 Royal Rumble's conclusion. At a time when The Yes! Movement was at the height of its momentum, WWE not only picked Batista to win the match, but they omitted Daniel Bryan completely. Their rejection was universal, and Batista was almost booed out of the building, so strong was the crowd's support for their mistreated hero.

Social media was almost entirely negative in the aftermath, and it extended way beyond the fans. Mick Foley was one of the decision's most vocal critics, and he immediately took to the internet, first posting a series of disgruntled tweets, then a longer Facebook post the day after the event.

Mick was deeply upset. He, just like Bryan's loyal legion of fans, couldn't believe what transpired, and he laid into the company's decision. The hardcore legend was so irritated, in fact, that he promised to put a brick through his television, and while he didn't quite deliver on this (he used a baseball bat, not a brick), Foley followed through by posting evidence of the poor, innocent TV's demise on Twitter in the day.

We understand the frustration, but perhaps that's a step too far...
