10 Crazy Wrestling Social Media Meltdowns

Though rightly considered among the greatest wrestling managers of all time, Jim Cornette is better known for his rants against the state of modern wrestling these days. While occasionally entertaining, and Corny does occasionally raise a good point every now and then, he has developed an unfortunate tendency to go way too far, particularly when it comes to guys like Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Joey Ryan.

Never one to mince his words, Cornette regularly calls for his targets to be banned from the business for acts like wrestling blowup dolls and Ryan's penis-flexing. Most modern fans would probably disagree with him, but Corny's statement is fine as a debating point.

This, however, is not.

The absurdity in comparing a pair of wrestlers to a murderous Nazi despot shouldn't need pointing out. Regardless, such vile rhetoric has become commonplace for Cornette, and really, it's not worth getting worked up about. He's screaming into the void, swimming against the tide, and trying to use his mouth to maintain relevance in a business that has largely passed him by. Still, it would be nice if he'd stop wishing death on those he doesn't like...
