10 Creative Ways To Utilize Paige's WWE Return

1. As A Disgruntled Performer

The best storylines in wrestling are the ones where fans cannot tell where the storytelling ends and the reality begins.

The blurring of the lines have been a part of some of the most successful angles in WWE history. With the growth of social media, the news of Paige's recent suspension, and the rumors of a possible split from WWE, many fans are much more aware of the performers' outside life today than they ever have been in the past.

So why not use it to the company's advantage?

Bring Paige out for a few minutes and let her run with a live mic in her hands. Allow her to address the rumors and speculation and mention her relationship with a certain former superstar. Let Paige's frustration come through the screen and allow her to vent to the fans, her fellow performers, and the powers that be in the back. And then let her leave, allowing fans to want more...

The ol' worked-shoot promo is an old trick that for a while was over-utilized and done to death, but in the right circumstances can still be very effective.

As widespread as the controversy with Paige has been, this could be that right circumstance. Just like WWE did with Eva Marie's suspension, and that of Roman Reigns', the promotion should continue that trend and turn Paige's real-life controversies into a storyline that benefits both the company and the performer.
