10 Creative Ways To Utilize Paige's WWE Return

3. SmackDown's #1 Heel

SmackDown's #1 heel is a spot that's far from locked up.

While it wouldn't necessarily be wise nor very WWE-like to take a performer that's been in the doghouse and immediately push them to the top of the card, over time, perhaps, Paige could become SmackDown's top villain.

Ever since Stephanie McMahon implemented the forced "Divas Revolution" in 2015, it's become obvious that WWE is firmly behind improving and expanding the role of women on both RAW and SmackDown. While WWE isn't likely to be dominated by female athletes, a period of time in which the company pushes a woman as its top danger or primary antagonist would go a long way in backing up their words.

While Paige would likely have to prove her commitment and re-dedicate herself to the company, if done in a mature, gratifying manner, Paige could certainly be utilized in that role of SmackDown's lead villain. We may still be years away from such a movement taking over RAW, but SmackDown has already tried to differentiate itself from the Monday Night show and going with Paige as the show's top heel would only further their efforts.
