10 Criminally Under-Rated Wrestlers

1. Cesaro

When Vince McMahon namechecked Cesaro as one star who needed to prove to WWE he belonged at the top, fans jumped down the Chairman's throat in a heartbeat. It's clear as day for anyone watching the current product that the artist formerly known as Claudio Castagnoli deserves a crack at the big time and could do special things in headline matches. Cesaro is another example of a performer willing to do pretty much anything asked of him - including yodelling on the way to the ring, but WWE can't cast blame at their wrestlers when they slow their momentum down to a halt and then wonder why fans aren't responding favourably. After Wrestlemania XXX, where Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, WWE fans heralded him as a top babyface. But then almost instantly, WWE killed that buzz by turning him heel, flip flopping him around needlessly in the process. Give Cesaro time in the ring with suitable opponents and a meaningful story to back it all up and watch as those fans start to gain interest once more. Talk about not playing off a performer's strengths. Do you agree with the choices on this list? Which other wrestlers could be considered under-rated? Let us know in the comments below!
