10 Criminally Underrated Wresting Matches

1. Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit vs Stone Cold Steve Austin & Triple H - WWE Tag Team Titles (Raw 2001)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnporKcSiV4 This match had everything but has been lost in WWE history due to the events surrounding Chris Benoit's death. The match ultimately changed the course WWE was going in ahead of The Invasion angle. Triple H suffered his first career threatening quad injury while breaking up The Walls of Jericho and was ruled out for over eight months, and the entire angle. When watching this match, just look at the reaction of the crowd to tell you how good it is. This is one of the most intense matches in WWE history and would've gone down as the greatest in Raw history if Triple H was able to complete it fully and Chris Beniot's double murder-suicide didn't happen. After Jericho receives THAT hot tag, this match goes full speed ahead and doesn't look like it can be stopped. The energy is great and looks as if it could go either way due to both sides laying in their offence. However, the Canadian pair come out on top and win The Power Trip's Tag Team Championships, almost taking the roof off the arena in the process. Truly amazing wrestling that has been completely forgotten.
