10 @CrrankyVince Tweets You Hope Weren't Based On Real Life

1. The Best Of Ryback

Whether or not this is entirely accurate is up for debate, but some of the comedy WWE present can be pretty old hat, and isn't exactly going to appeal to kids, which often ruins the promotion's chances of being considered cool. Years ago, the company would release videos which were effectively nothing more than extended hype packages for some of their wrestlers. The formula was pretty simple - a full match or two, some highlights of a handful of the grappler's other bouts, interview footage and music packages, all pieced together in order to make the wrestler look as great as possible. Some were worth checking out, such as those looking at guys like Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, but the sheer volume of these VHS tapes meant there was always bound to be some dud matches on show. With the advent of the WWE Network, there's a great chance for McMahon to bring back the idea, albeit in a slicker format. It's difficult to imagine what a video compilation on Ryback would include, outside of his matches with CM Punk and John Cena. Teaming with Curtis Axel against Los Matadores could hardly be considered a highlight! What do you make of these tweets? Although parody, a lot of them almost read like a social commentary on the perceived mindset of Vince McMahon. Let us know your own thoughts in the comments section below!
