10 Cruelest WWE Moments

8. Vickie Is Fat?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9RDzakAXtI Jerry Lawler absolutely loved making fun of Vickie Guerrero. Mainly because he's a horrible person. Week after week we'd have to listen to him not insult her not because she was a heel, or that she was full of herself, or cost babyfaces their matches. Nope, he simply attacked her weight. A the 2010 Slammy Awards, he was presenting alongside her, and decided to make fun of the size of her butt. King's gotta King. The next week she demanded an apology. Good for her for standing up to a bully! Sadly, things did not go well for her, as Lawler only continued mocking her: "I can't help it if you're the only Diva in the WWE whose bathtub has stretch marks." Now why was that necessary, or relevant to anything? Well luckily John Cena was in the ring at the time as well. Since he's the face of the WWE, and always preaches about not being a bully, of course he scolded Lawler right? Nope, he joined right in on the bullying on making fun of a non-wrestler with this one: "Vickie's so fat that she wakes up in sections." Lawler responded with "Did you know what when God said 'let there be light' that he had to ask Vickie to step out of the way first?" Cena loved that and added on with "Vickie is so fat that her baby pictures had to be taken via satellite." This style of jokes was popular a couple of decades ago, which is par for the course for WWE. And why did Lawler suddenly stop making fun of a normal sized woman? Because he was specifically told to stop making fat jokes about her by the B.A. Star organization! And hey, this wasn't the first time that WWE mocked a woman's weight on air for no good reason...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
