http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x165uv_dx-discuss-about-eric-s-new-book_fun If we're being honest, Chris Masters got a big push right out of the gate for one reason only: his incredible physique. Unfortunately, it was his body that also got him in trouble. In a backstage segment on Raw, Masters was talking to Eric Bischoff about the book he'd just released. Masters seemed genuine in telling him what a fan he was of WCW and had a few questions for him. The babyface team of HHH and Shawn Michaels then butted in. After Bischoff told the two 40-year-old men who were acting like teenagers that he thought DX was a ripoff of the NWO, he left, leaving them with The Masterpiece. Hunter asked the younger man when he was going to write a book. Masters said he was thinking of writing one on nutrition. Hunter thought he was being clever and asked "What are you going to call it? How to lose 50 lbs in four weeks?" You see, the joke was Masters just got busted for failing a wellness policy test. Hysterical! So not only was he suspended, and probably embarrassed, but then the second most powerful man in the company mocked him on air about it. Hunter can release all the work out DVDs he wants, but does anyone out there really believe he's taking the same tests that the rest of the roster does? CM Punk sure didn't think so in his interview with Colt Cabana, and that's probably a sentiment shared by most of the roster. But they don't get to call the shots.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
