10 Current MMA Fighters Who Could Jump To Professional Wrestling

3. Derrick "The Black Beast" Lewis

Take one look at Derrick Lewis, then scroll his Instagram. Watch his "My balls was hot" post-fight interview. The wrestling world needs The Black Beast. Lewis holds the record for most knockouts in UFC history, but can make fun of himself when he loses. However the chips fall, The Black Beast always seems to shake it off and move forward.

The 37 year-old Lewis started his MMA journey in 2009. As of this writing, he is still the number five ranked Heavyweight in the UFC. He's a fan favorite and typically puts on a show, but Father Time has an undefeated record. Derrick is in a prime position to make the move now. He would bring name recognition and a fan base with him to wrestling.

With a great ring name, reputation and skillset in tow, Derrick Lewis is one knockout finisher away from being the finished pro wrestling package. Putting him in a program with a physically large veteran wrestler would give him a chance to showcase both his ring skills and personality.

Dream Match: Derrick "The Black Beast" Lewis vs. Kevin Owens. The promos leading up to this match would be worth the price of admission. Owens can sell for anyone and stylistically can work with a man of Lewis' size.
